Winchester Model 54 early style standard rifle in scarce .30 W.C.F.
Description: Outstanding early style Model 54 chambered in the scarce .30 W.C.F. (30-30) caliber. This rifle is in absolutely remarkable condition, especially considering it's 91 years of circulation! There are NO bolt or safety alterations, original finishes throughout with no notable marks beyond typical light wear, original sights and swivel studs, and the top of rear receiver bridge remains undrilled! S/N is 17*** indicating a manufacture date of 1928. The scribed # on bolt flat is faint but present and matching. 24" Barrel with good bore and strong rifling. 95% Blue and Varnish overall with the exception of butt plate which has worn to mostly silver. All mechanical functions work smoothly and properly. Of the only 50,000 Winchester 54s ever made, very few were made in 30 WCF, and of those, dramatically fewer still remain that have not been completely butchered. An excellent example!
