I am offering this extreme rare Winchester model 61 Rifle in caliber 22- short only with extremely rare round barrel combination. Caliber 22 – short only, serial # 79876, made in 1948, barrel 24-inches – short with a round barrel.This extremely rare Winchester model 61 slide action 22 caliber rifle action is chambers for 22 short only. That in its self is rare. Then add to it this rifle is made with a round barrel in 22 short only. Supposedly Winchester only made this combination in 1-year 1947. But typical of Winchester there were guns assembled in other years. This rifle was made in 1948. This rifle is in excellent condition; the metal is 99% plus condition. The wood is also in excellent 99% condition. The only defect in this rifle is a hair line behind the upper tang.  I think the stock was maybe repaired at that point. You must look very hard to see this hairline but you can see it. The rare of this rifle is as rare as the routledge or straight through shot barrel. Check the pictures closely.

The firearm may be returned for any reason, buy the buyer must notify the seller within three (3) calendar day inspection period. 
The buyer must start the return within the next four (4) calendar days to receive a complete refund, less all shipping, transaction fees and FFL charges.  On a return, the buyer must not remove the firearm from the FFL premises without approval of the seller.  Once the firearm has been received by the seller and inspected, a prompt refund will be issued.  Shipping must start within one week of receipt of the item.  The return shipping must be of equal shipping level, including insurance.  The return item MUST be in the same condition as when shipped to the buyer.  This is an inspection period only, a gun is not to be fired or disassembled.  Sellers written permission is required to allow the buyer to take down a takedown model during the inspection period.  Upon the receipt and inspection of the returned gun, the seller agrees to issue a prompt refund.
