Winchester Model 61 S, L & LR 1950 in Original Winchester Picture Box
Description:
SOLD.
Listed is a minty Winchester Model 61 with Serial Number 155135 chambered for .22 Short, Long and Long Rifle with the Original Winchester Picture Box. It was made in 1950.
It has a 24 inch round barrel with the correct front and rear sights. It has about 97% barrel, mag tube and receiver blue. Slight blue loss on barrel from slide. There are a couple light scuff marks on top of the receiver from a Lyman #55C aperture sight that was mounted to the left side of receiver. Filler screws have been added to those two holes.
There is about 97% wood finish remaining with a couple small handling marks. The ding on the left side of the stock near the butt plate is through the finish and in the wood. See photo #20 for more detail.
It has a steel butt plate and it has a perfect bore. The Lyman #55C aperture sight and two mounting screws are included with the gun.
It has the original Winchester blue and red picture box numbered to gun with the card board separators, hang tag and owner’s manual in excellent condition.
