SN: 158762, 2777649, 150974. Col. Sightler served in WWII and in Korea. He was part of McArthur's staff in Manila. He served from 1940 to 1960 until he retired. The M1 Carbine was his issue gun, which he kept and took home. The Parker and Winchester were personal favorite hunting guns.
The Parker is a DHE grade 20ga, serial number 158762, with 28" barrels which have about 85% original blue with excellent bores and auto ejectors. The receiver has mostly a silver patina with traces of case colors in protected areas. The wood is very good with light wear. A fine example of a Parker shotgun, with a leg of mutton case inscribed ""S.B. Sightler / Montgomery, ALA"".
The M1 Carbine, serial number 2777649, is as issued without any upgrades or arsenal work. It's in excellent original condition with very light wear, and comes with a sling.
The Winchester 62A, serial number 150974, shows expected field wear to the finish and stock. The bore and action are excellent.
A desirable and interesting trio of guns. Sold as a set. Consignment.
