Winchester ~ 62A ~ .22 S. L, LR (1957)

Description:
This 1957 vintage slide-action, take-down, rimfire rifle is a Winchester Model 62A chambered for .22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle. The Winchester Model 62A was the last in line of a series of slide-action, tube-fed rimfire rifles. This specimen has a fixed dovetailed blade white bead front sight, adjustable v-notch rear sight, 17 groove forearm, and an external hammer. It has matching receiver and tang serial numbers. The barrel bluing shows considerable wear along its length; the bluing on the receiver however is quite good showing some loss on the sharp edges. The furniture shows considerable wear, mars and handling marks to the forearm, the stock has a great patina but does show moderate to light handling wear. .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle
