Winchester Model 62 Gallery .22 Short only Pre-war 1936

Description:
This is a nice Winchester Model 62 (Not 62A) in the gallery model. Bore is excellent and wood is sound. Gun was built in 1936 and is a rare veriation. The gun has the (Improved Locking System) which was in guns with serial 24,000 to 98,000. For a gun this old the metal finish is very good. There are two items to mention concerning this gun. The gun has an inventory number stamped on the right side of the receiver from the gallery company that owned it. Also the magazine tube is a replacement. All in all a great rifle considering it's 80 year old life. Will ship in the lower 48 states for $22.50. No sales to California.
