Winchester Model 62 s/l/lr
Description:
This rifle was manufactured in 1939 and appears to have been sold shortly thereafter. It was purchased in a hardware store by the current owner in Fort Worth, Texas in 1955. Since that purchase, it has only been fired about 25 times, and apparently the first owner fired it a very few times in that it locks up when you cock it like it just came out of the Winchester factory. As far as condition, the barrel is very good with no blemishes in the bluing (pics show some lint), and the bore is shiny and likewise for the condition of the undercarriage and top of the receiver. The rear stock has its original finish but with some minor wear as noted in pics. The fore end wood has its original finish and has one very minor nick as noted in pic. Both sides of the receiver have some minor surface blemishes as can be seen in pics. Overall, this is a fine little rifle. Shipping will be $45.
