Description:
This is an exceptional Winchester model 63 from war-time 1941. The model 63 is a 22 LR, that operates as a semi automatic. This is a relatively early example, that was built in the 8th year of the model run, from 1933-1959. The model 63 was an extremely high quality little rifle that proved to be too expensive to continue manufacturing past 1959. This one has the 23" barrel, with a crowned muzzle, and a strong bore. There is no corrosion to any of the metal, and it has its original blue, with minimal light marks. The side panels are seldom found in this condition, with no holes drilled for a scope, or metalic sight. The stock finish is original, with normal small handling marks (and a nearly invisible hairline crack at the wrist Pic.12). This gun takes down and reassembles as designed. They are getting increasingly hard to find in this condition ( especially for 84 years old). $1200.00 Shipped and Insured FREE to a current FFL holder in your area within the lower 48 states. Payment by PMO's, or another form of Certified Funds. Dan at 608 751-7194
