About Us: I have collected interesting firearms for about 60 years, and am a Benefactor/Life NRA member. I feel that it is now time to start selling a few things. Winchester Model 64, 32 Winchester Special, Beautiful Stock
Description: Beautiful Winchester Model 64 in .32 Winchester Special. I liked this rifle from the moment that I saw it. Someone traded it in to my local gun shop in the mid 90s, and I walked in and bought it on the spot. I have always liked the model 64. Even though it uses the same action as the 94, the rifle has a much more svelte and sexy profile with the curved lever, the pistol grip stock, and the 2/3 magazine. It is in great shape but has been used. There is wear on the bluing near the muzzle and the front of the magazine tube, as well as on the bottom of the action where someone has carried it. There are no major scratches in the metal and when you look at the pictures, you will see that I have tried to highlight any areas of wear. The wood in the buttstock is beautiful with lots of figure, especially for a post war model 64 standard rifle. There is a small scratch on the right side of the butt stock and it appears that there has been some finish added. If the buttstock has been sanded it has been only lightly, because the wood is still a little proud to the metal. Someone with some finishing skills could make it look like new. Most people would not notice it was not original. The forend appears to be untouched. This rifle has the correct front sight, complete with hood, and it has the correct Winchester rear sight. The bore looks perfect and the action is smooth and locks up tight. I have fired this one and I have found the sights to be right on at 100 yards.This rifle is not a "Safe Queen" like some of my others, but it has been well taken care of and it will do what it is supposed to do. It is a requirement that every used firearm is inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing. The buyer agrees to hold seller harmless against damages, injury, or death caused by defective merchandise. RETURN POLICY- All firearms come with a 3-day non firing , no-messing with (turning screws ,taking apart, removing parts, scoping. firing, cleaning or altering in any way) inspection/return privilege. Inspection is based on a visual review of the gun to confirm the gun is in the condition stated. In the case of a return, the buyer pays all shipping charges & if paid for with a credit card buyer absorbs the 3% credit card charges . So please ask questions BEFORE you bid.
