Near New Winchester Model 67A Boys Rifle, 22 s,l,lr with 20” barrel
I am offering a beautiful all original Winchester Model 67A “Boys Rifle” with 20” barrel, single shot, 22 s.l.lr. This particular rifle is a later one, and was most likely made between 1957-1963 and features a Cherry Wood stock. While the stock on the standard 67A was specified to be Walnut, a few were made with Cherry. However, the stock for the later 67A "Boy's Rifle" was specified to be made from Cherry as standard (possibly to further reduce the weight). So, while a Cherry stock on a standard 67A is unusual (but not rare), a Cherry stock on a Boy's rifle is common. The metal and wood finishes are near new and all original and there are a couple of small indentations in the butt stock, two small areas on the left side of the bolt where the chrome has flaked, and the take down screw head is a little buggered. I tried to capture these small flaws in the pictures. The action is tight and smooth, showing little wear. The bore is near new and shiny. All markings and addresses are clear and sharp. There are no extra holes, no cracks or splits.
I would gladly send more pictures if you would like.
