Its pre 1968 as it is it was not serialized. It is sporter weight but a target model that was not equipped with a factory rear site doetail and was factory equipped with a recever site ...the apature was removed prior to it coming to us (these should be avail from many sources) the gradiant scale is still in place as is the period correct Weaver B4. These old 1/2 Weavers were gennerally not of good quality but this one has aged well and is still pretty clear. Zero rust or pitting or flasw of any kind..it is truly not far from new cond. Collector condition but priced so that it might be used a s a plinker.
