Winchester Model 70 Featherweight Pre 64 In 308 Winchester In New Condition
Description:
This Winchester Featherweight was produced in 1954. The rifle's serial number is 284469. This rifle is chambered to shoot the 308 Winchester cartridge. This Winchester is one of 41190 rifles chambered for this round. The barrel is the standard 22 inch Featherweight barrel with a minty bore. This rifle shows very little sign if any, of being fired at all. The sights are original to this Winchester. The bolt face shows no real sign of a burn ring around the firing pin hole. The bolt itself has been worked very lightly. This bolt still has it's original bolt tag on the bolt handle. The original bluing would rate a 100% condition. The stock is in new condition. The checkering is also in new condition with sharp points. The aluminum butt plate still has all of the original bluing intact on the face. The magazine floor plate and trigger housing is also in new condition. This is a very collectable Model 70 in this fine of condition! The 308 Winchester chambering was popular in this model. Very few of these Featherweight rifle are still around in this fine of condition with this chambering! Here is one of these fine Featherweight rifles to grace any high end collection!
