Performance Context

The .264 Win Mag is an overbore belted magnum designed for flat trajectories and high velocities. It can easily reach speeds of 3,200 fps with 140-grain bullets, making it excellent for long-range hunting of medium to large game. However, because of these ballistics, it is known to be relatively hard on brass and requires high-quality, properly constructed bullets to perform consistently at extended ranges.
