1990 Near Perfect Winchester Model 70 XTR Classic Sporter in harder to find 270 Weatherby Magnum, 24” barrel S/N (G2021549) would put the production year at 1990. I purchased this rifle along with its big brother in 300 Wby Mag about 7 years ago because both appeared to have never been used. They have been in the back of my safe until now. I would rate this Model 70 as almost new as it does not appear to have ever been fired. The only thing missing on this rifle would be the original box it came in. As stated, I have its big brother in my other listing that is equal in condition if one wanted a pair of unique caliber model 70’s.
