It began life as a Extreme Weather stainless steel. I purchased it new in 2015. I was not satisfied with the accuracy so i had IT&D of Minerva, Ohio, install a Douglas XX stainless steel barrel. I am also a fan of beautiful, figured walnut, so i acquired and installed a Winchester Supergrade stock. The pictures speak for themself. The barrel is 23 in., i felt 24in was a little too long and 22in was a little too short. The muzzle dia is .640 to a target crown. The scope is a Leupold VX3 3.5-10 with a adjustable objective. It is mounted in Talley quick detachable rings and mount. The rifle shoots great as shown in the photos. Buyer will receive my loading test targets. Weight with scope is 9 1/4 lb. I am not a gun dealer, I am a hunter, rifle nut and horder. I am 74 and have been a life long fan of Jack O'Connor and 270 rifles. At season end i have evaluated my collection and realize i have 5 270's, and although the remaining 4 i intend to keep do not shoot any better if as well, they all have more of a history with me. Really, who needs 5 270's. This rifle appears as new, with no issues or scraches. I have never hunted with it, but have tested handloads. I'm sure it has less than 500 rounds through it.
