SOLD PENDING PAYMENT. Winchester 70 Heavy Varmint model in cal 22-250 Rem. This is the short push feed action. 26" stainless steel barrel, dia at muzzle .875. It was rumored that Winchester used Wilson barrels on this model. They were built 1992-1994. The stock is HS Precision with free floated barrel channel. The action fits into a aluminium bedding block. This model was known for their quality and accuracy. Trigger is set at 2 lb. The rifle weighs 10 lb. i bought it used around 2010 and enjoyed working up loads. I never hunted with it, it looks like the last time i took it to the range was 2016. I dont target shoot or varmint hunt and really no longer have any need for it. AS you can see from the photos, the rifle is in excellent condition. the blue is faded slightly under the scope mount bases but there is no rust or pitting. Scope bases will cover this up. You can see the accuracy potential 200 yd target shown. I will include my load development targets along with aprox 100 Noisler cases, as well as a Forester stright line seater, and a Lee collet die and crimp die. I am not a FFL. I will include a bill of sale along with a copy of my drivers license. Shipping limited to the lower 48.
