Winchester Model 70 Classic Stainless in 300 Winchester Magnum with a Beautiful Featherweight style stock. At first glance, this rifle appears to be unfired although I cannot say that for certain.. There is no evidence of a scope mount having been installed. The bolt face appears as new. The bore is clean and bright. I purchased this one from a friend who bought it as a basis for building a custom rifle. He told me that he was able to get a small discount because of a couple of light scratches in the left side of the buttstock (see photos). As these things happen, he procrastinated the project, and after a while he lost interest. I do not have the original box for it, that was thrown away when it was originally purchased. I like this one because it has the beautiful Walnut Featherweight style stock with its sleek lines, the schnabel forend tip, and the Fleur de lis checkering.
It is chambered in the classic 300 Winchester Magnum cartridge that was introduced in 1963. It remains one of the most popular 300 magnum cartridges. Ammo is always easy to find and is usually at a more reasonable price than other, more exotic chamberings. It is powerfull enough to take, and in fact has taken, the big game animals of North America. It is also a great long range cartridge, and is popular in Africa for plains game. If you like long range shots at Deer and Elk, put a nice scope on this one and go to work. It will not dissapoint.

PAYMENT - I can accept cashier’s checks, bank checks, or personal checks (pending verification of funds), or money orders. I can also accept payment via Zelle and can ship almost immediately after receipt and confirmation.
My FFL dealer (Dixie Gun & Fish, St George, Utah, 435-674-4008) securely packs and ships each firearm, following all firearms laws, and will include a signed copy of their FFL with each firearm shipped. There will be No private sales on firearms!

SAFETY WARNING- Buyer is solely responsible for determining that a used gun is safe to shoot. The firearms offered may or may not have been test fired, and some have been only visually inspected. It is a requirement that every used firearm is inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing. The buyer agrees to hold seller harmless against damages, injury, or death caused by defective merchandise.

RETURN POLICY- All firearms come with a 3-day non firing, no-tinkering with (turning screws, taking apart, removing parts, scoping. firing, cleaning or altering in any way) inspection/return privilege. Inspection is based on a visual review of the firearm to confirm that it is in the condition stated. In the case of a return, the buyer pays all shipping charges both ways. Please ask questions.
Return Policy Guidelines of GunsInternational  Unless the buyer and seller agree to modify, as may be the case in a new gun, layaway, international sales and for used guns and accessories it must be clearly marked in the listing as No Return, the return policy is three (3) calendar days from the day the item(s) are received by the buyer or delivered to the FFL acting for the buyer.   The item may be returned for any reason, but the buyer must notify the seller within the three (3) calendar day inspection period.  The buyer must start the return within the next four (4) calendar days to receive a complete refund, less all shipping, transaction fees and FFL charges.  On a return the buyer must not remove the firearm from the FFL premises without approval of the seller.  Once the firearm has been received by the seller and inspected a prompt refund will be issued.  Shipping must start within one week of receipt of the item(s).  The return shipping must be of equal shipping level, including insurance i.e... Priority, Express, Blue Label etc.  The return item MUST be in the same condition as when shipped to the buyer.  This is an inspection period only, a gun is not to be fired or disassembled.  Sellers written permission is required to allow the buyer to take down a takedown model during the inspection period. Upon the receipt and inspection of the returned gun, the seller agrees to issue a prompt refund. Recommendation: Confirm purchase with all details via the Contact Seller form within the listing and print out the listing for your records. Industry standard is that if a buyer fails to perform on a layaway that any monies deposited are forfeited.  GunsInternational recommends all layaways are agreed in writing. Any modification of the 3 day return policy must be in writing by both buyer and seller.
