Sold to me as potentially New in Box from an estate and I have no reason to doubt it. COMES WITH ORIGINAL BOX, which is also in incredible condition. 30-06 caliber. Winchester’s venerable factory Target Rifle. Serial G899122 which I believe places it as first year of the G run, which was 1969. Let me know if I am incorrect. There are a couple tiny flecks of a handling mark on the grip, and a tiny handling mark in the fore-grip area. That’s it for flaws. Bluing is perfect. Bore looks new of course. A 56 year old time capsule. Looks like it was just carried out of the Herter’s store. (Whoops, timestamped myself). I will provide lots of high-res photos to any SERIOUS buyer. It’s always been in my safe for the time I have had it. I have several target firearms and never got around to using this one so I have not fired it as my goal eventually became to keep it pristine for the next collector/owner. Terms are as per this ad and our correspondence. Cash only if a Local sale. For local sale I will only sell to anyone who is verified to purchase a firearm so I would need to see either a FFL, or Neb Firearm Purchase Certificate, and ID, just like it's done at the local auuctions/shows. Concealed Carry Permit works as well. I will ship to an FFL. If you do not have your own FFL you must contact your FFL provider and ensure that they will accept firearms for transfer that come from a private individual like me that does not have an FFL.
