Built in 1947 this fine transition Winchester Model 70 is chambered in .257 Roberts and features pre war and post war features. The rifle has a mint bore and retains about 96% of the original blue finish. The walnut stock is crisp with no cracks and excellent checkering. A scarce caliber! Note the rifle has no extra holes drilled and is mounted with a Leupold Vari-X-III 3.5x10 scope. Overall a fine rifle!
