Custom pre-64 Model Winchester .416

Description:
This model 70 Winchester, chambered in.416 Taylor, a wildcat for  heavy game, with all metal and stock work preformed by Dennis Olsen, one of the best in the business. The caliber has a large and enthusiastic cult following that duplicates the original .416 Rigby velocity and less powder and less recoil. Moreover, the caliber accomplishes this performance with a standard length action and modest chamber pressure. The magazine accepts four rounds upon loading and the caliber is very accurate and is not particular about one's choice of powder. Lightweight, a powerful rifle with modest recoil that is easy to feed and very handy. Factory ammunition is readily available.
The barrel is 22
" with a ling swivel on a barrel band, LOP is 13 3/4". The action is fully glassed bedded in Bastogne walnut stock and has a tasteful black streaking from the front to back. Perfect grain flow through the pistol grip. Checkering is 20 LPI in a diamond pattern while the buttstock has a Neidner butt plate and pistol grip. There is no iron sight on the rifle but it has lightweight S &K rings and bases with a 1 1/2 to 5 Leopold scope. The weight is 9 pounds. The rifle has not been in the bush or fired since the return from Dennis. The deal also includes dies, 25 rounds of normal brass, and 25 400 grain Woodleigh solid bullets.
