1955, .358 Winchester "Standard Grade" w/aluminum butt. Please note that I have had some people say that such an offering was not available, but a standard grade in the .358 was available on special order during the same period the .358 caliber was offered in the Featherweight (1952-63). Further, I have consulted at least two reputable dealers, who are very aware that some special orders of this variety did occur. such I have never shot this rifle Mint, 99% bore, action, and wood. The bluing is 98%, which is only due to the metal butt showing loss of blue near its top. The hinge plate is tight and very sound, which tells me it was opened very little. The receiver without the bolt in place shows very little wear. Sporting correct rear sight for the period. Nice wood with a monte carlo stock. All original and an excellent piece for your Pre-64 collection. SN# 330242 w/ same on the bolt.
