Made in 1953 this rifle retains 97-98% original barrel blue, receiver rust blue and trigger guard/floor plate blue with the only real wear showing on the bolt knob and butt plate. The wood finish is original and there is noticeable wear on the left side of the forearm and this a number of handling marks in the stock; 95-96% wood finish. Excellent mechanically and an excellent bore. Mounted on the rifle is a Weaver K4 60-B scope with fine cross hairs..probably the only scope that has ever been on this rifle. Missing the front hood. Fine example of the Classic M70 that is nearly 70 years old.
