Outstanding Pre 64 Winchester 70 standard weight rifle in .243 caliber. This is a tough caliber to find in a standard rifle with a STEEL buttplate, and to find one in this unaltered and near mint condition even more so!
S/N 394*** with matching number bolt made in early 1957. The Barrel is 24" with a mint bore. 99% Blue, 98% plus Varnish. Virtually spotless inside. Mechanical function and appointments are correct in all regards. A great find and welcome addition to most collections.
