Description: ***SOLD*** Beautiful and scarce Model 70 in 257 Roberts caliber. S/N 179323 with a matching scribed bolt body, made in 1951. Excellent condition throughout showing 98% original blue and 97% original varnish. The barrel channel is clean and unaltered. Has the highly desirable aesthetics and classic lines of a low comb stock, solid bolt knob, 22g rear sight w/ 4 step elevator, etc. The bore is minty and all mechanical functions are crisp and proper. One of my all time favorite calibers with negligible recoil, yet stellar performance. Please add $100 for expedited and fully insured shipping from Alaska in a new plastic hard case.
