Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 257 Roberts
Description: Here's a very nice, early post war rifle in the highly desirable and scarce .257 Roberts caliber. S/N 107*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1949. This rifle is in very good condition overall with all original finishes and in its original configuration. There are some more moderate dents on the forward portion of fore-end wood, and some scattered light abrasions on the right side of the barrel, but nothing too distracting. There are no gouges or cracks. I would confidently rate it between 90-95%. Bore and mechanical functions are excellent. This rifle would be a great choice for someone wanting a superb and versatile caliber for hunting or field use that still maintains a fairly high level of collectibility. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
