Description: Solid and all original rifle in very good condition. A highly desirable Winchester Model 70 in scarce .257 Roberts caliber. S/N 134*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1950. Low comb, solid bolt knob, all correct appointments. Barrel channel and action area have been inspected and are clean with NO glass bedding, routing, nor structural cracks. 97% Blue over most, with buttplate typically showing more wear. 95% Varnish with the usual light handling marks of a very well cared for 71 year old hunting rifle.
