Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 264 Win Mag Excellent!
Description: Exceptional Pre 64 Winchester 70 Featherweight in somewhat scarce .264 Win Mag caliber. S/N 548*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1962. Condition is excellent at 98% Blue and Varnish. Very nice piece of wood for this later vintage with more conventional grain and color and no tendancy toward the plain and ugly orange that we sometimes see on these. The factory ventilated pad as issued on ALL 264 Fwts. is in outstanding condition as well, with good color, unbuggered screw holes, and it remains soft and functional. The bore of the 22" barrel is minty and all mechanical functions work flawlessly. An overall great example of this superb performing caliber/configuration. SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
