Description: ***SOLD*** Very clean and highly desirable 270 FWT with the much preferred aluminum buttplate. S/N 342*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1955. 22" slim profile barrel. Excellent bore and mechanical functions. It has become surprisingly difficult to find clean and collectible 270s in practically any configuration. They are highly popular, generally affordable, and they definately get used. Winchester did not make nearly as many 270s as 30-06, and current owners do not tend to want to part with them! This rifle remains quite nice, with no alterations, and just some light scattered marks, impressions, and scuffs here and there...nothing distracting.
