Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 300 Magnum (H&H) Rare undrilled rear bridge!
SALE PENDING
Description:
***SALE PENDING***
Exceptional and VERY difficult to find early 300 H&H magnum featuring the rare undrilled rear receiver bridge.
These were produced from the transition era (1946-48) until late 1950 and were specific to the two H&H magnum calibers (300 H&H and 375 H&H). They stand out as having the very unique smooth topped, yet undrilled rear receiver bridge. There are very few that remain intact in either caliber, since nearly all have been subsequently drilled post production for today's more modern scope mounts.
S/N 154615 with matching bolt made in 1950.
The rifle's condition is excellent throughout with only minor handling and use marks, showing even less in hand than in my purposely reflective photos. The insides are spotless.
The bore is minty and all mechanical functions are perfect.
A very fine and elusive example offered in one of the premiere Model 70 calibers.
Please add $100 for expedited and fully insured shipping from Alaska in a custom cut, foam lined box.
