Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 300 WIN MAG RARE!
Description: Exceedingly rare Pre 64 Model 70 300 Winchester Magnum. Serial# 572055 with matching number bolt. Mechanics appear to function perfectly and bore is like new. The 300 Win Mag was offered for only one year during pre 64 production, that being 1963, and made up less than 1% of total production! This one remains in good condition, but was used, showing some cosmetic imperfections that would limit my overall rating to between 90-95%. The finishes on both wood and metal are original. There are a few higher wear areas with light dents or scrapes such as along top profile of the stock comb, front rim of pistol grip and just ahead of floor plate, along with other light surface marks. Bluing also has a few scattered marks as shown. Not perfect, but one you could still be proud to own and it may be a very long wait for a better one at this price. Credit cards accepted with 3% fee.
