Very sharp Model 70 FWT in desirable .270 caliber.
S/N 509537 with matching scribed bolt made in 1961.
98% original blue. Slight wear and small scratch to aluminum floorplate. The aluminum trigger guard looks about new.
Beautifully figured wood, especially for a later model that has several scattered handling marks and a bit of crazing to the original lacquer finish.
Insides look new with no issues, as does the bolt. It does not appear that this gun was fired much beyond its factory test.
Bore is excellent, along with flawless mechanical function.
A fine rifle in a versatile and supremely popular caliber.
