Sale Pending to DT in Tennessee// Made in 1948, this clean and desireable Model 70, in the venerable 257 Roberts, has an excellent bore as well as its original finish on the wood and metal. The barrel does have a bit of freckling in the blue, see the pics. There is a third screw hole tapped into the rear bridge right between the two factory holes. It's small and was expertly done,and it also has a fill screw. The bolt is correctly numbered to the action. Just 2% of all the Mod 70s were ever chambered in 257 Roberts, making them scarce and highly collectible. This one is in remarkable condition. It comes with a period correct Weaver KV scope in the Redfield vertically split rings.
