Description: Here's a nice shooter grade in a very scarce caliber/configuration. This is a .243 caliber standard rifle. (Most 243s were featherweights and these stds. are seldom encountered, especially with steel butt)! S/N 362*** with matching bolt made in early 1956. Nice condition overall showing about 95% average due to numerous light handling marks on the wood but no gouges or cracks anywhere. Mechanics are flawless and the bore is excellent. A great rifle that you can take to the deer woods and enjoy, yet it maintains its collectibility due to being in decent shape and unmolested in any way.
