Description: ***SALE PENDING*** Scarce .243 caliber standard weight rifle in excellent condition. S/N 507175 with matching scribed bolt made in 1961. There were relatively few Pre 64 Model 70 standard weight rifles made in .243 caliber. They are much more difficult to locate than the Featherweight style, especially in such fine condition. This one is clean and original in all regards, showing 98% finishes on both metal and wood. The bore is excellent, as are all mechanical functions. I have inspected the barrel channel and it remains clean with no alteration, routing, or any other issues. An extremely versatile and popular caliber that will make a fine addition to any collection.
