Pre War Transition Winchester Model 70 .270 Nice!

Description:
Exceptional pre war/early transition Winchester 70 in 270 W.C.F. caliber. Condition is 98% plus for both Blue and Varnish. S/N 55*** placing Mfg. 1946 but comprised of 100% pre war components including rust blued barrel, undrilled rear receiver bridge, flag safety, etc. The electro penciled S/N is clearly legible and matching on bolt body. 24" Barrel with excellent bore. All components such as sights, hood, swivels, etc. 100% correct. Mechanics are flawless.
An outstanding rifle in all regards, which would be difficult to improve upon.
