Outstanding and rare Pre War Winchester 70 in the all time greatest 30-06 caliber.
S/N 37647 with matching scribed bolt made in 1941.
This beautiful rifle is completely original with no alterations, no extra drill holes, and excellent original finishes, showing only very minor wear and some scattered light oxidation over the past 85 years!
I would rate it about 97% overall.
The 24" barrel has an excellent bore as well, along with perfect and crisp mechanical functions throughout.
All original sights, 4 step elevator, hood, swivels, etc.
Good Pre War 70s are tough to find, and this is a really nice one.
