Description:
When introduced in 1936 as "The Rifleman's Rifle," the Winchester Model 70 set the standard for Mauser-inspired, controlled feed, sporting rifles. This one was manufactured in 1951, and is in very good condition with a few defects that could be defined as cosmetic handling marks. It features internal box magazine with hinged floor plate, hooded bead front sight, and dovetail for rear sight. .30-06 Springfield

Metal Condition: Very good. The blue on the floor plate and trigger guard appear somewhat faded. The finish on the action is a little uneven.
Wood Condition: "Very good. There are a couple scratches, not real deep but visible.
Bore Condition: "Shiny and bright, with good rifling.
