Description: Winchester Model 70 .30-06 Rifle 1963, FEATHERWEIGHT, FACTORY 98% General Specs: Winchester, Year 1963, .30-06 Springfield, 7lbs, Rifle Serial Number: 573003 Here we have a very desirable Pre-1964 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight rifle in caliber .30-06 Springfield built in 1963, sn573003. The rifle is in excellent, untouched, factory original condition with no alterations. The 22" barrel has mint bore, 99% factory blue, clear sharp lettering, with factory Lyman rear sight, standard front site (missing hood, we have one here and will put it on before shipping), all in great shape. The receiver has the standard factory drilled and tapped holes for scope mounts, just faint wear on the blue with 97% remaining. The aluminum factory anodized trigger guard is flaking. The wood has light handling marks only, no gouges, cracks, repairs of any sort, and retains most all of the factory finish, has the factory sling swivels, 13 1/2" LOP and the 1963 version plastic factory buttplate. Weighing less than 7lbs., these Featherweight M70's are very sought after and will continue to hold their value over time as long as you care for them as you enjoy their use.
