Description:
For sale is a Winchester Model 70 in 30 GOV'T 06 in great working order. It was manufactured in 1947 and is considered a transition rifle The wood is in very good condition with a few light dings and handling marks. It does have a cut out where a rear sight was once installed . Also there are a few spotty darker discolored marks on the right side of the butt stock. I am not sure if it is just darker original wood in that area or a stain. The blue shows normal ware on the receiver , trigger guard floor plate and a rub mark on left side of barrel. It has a metal butt plate and a matching bolt number.
Buyer pays $55. shipping to lower 48. I will insure it and ship it in a hard case. I perfer USPS money orders and will accept checks but they must clear my bank before shipping.
