WINCHESTER MODEL 70 CUSTOM BOLT ACTION RIFLE .375 H&H MAGNUM

26" BARREL, PISTOL HAND GRIP, STEEL GRIP CAP, CHEEK PIECE, 13-7/8" LOP, RUBBER PAD, KAHLES HELIA CL 2-7x36,  EAW SWING/PIVOT MOUNTS; 10 LBS 2 Oz WITH SCOPE & RINGS; 8 LBS 15 Oz WITHOUT SCOPE & RINGS

A custom bolt action rifle chambered for the .375 H&H Magnum cartridge built on a Pre-64 (Dated 1962) Winchester Model 70 action. Its crowned round blued 26” steel barrel is fit with a barrel band blade front sight with a stippled like finished ramp, knurled hood and a barrel band stud for a sling. The left side of the receiver is roll marked 'WINCHESTER', 'WP' inside an oval (Winchester Proof Mark) and the left side of the barrel is roll marked '.375 H&H'. The action is fit with a Kahles Helia CL 2-7x36 rifle scope on EAW swing/pivot mounts, single trigger, 5-panel bolt knob, 3-position wing safety with "FIRE" on the bolt shroud, Lyman No. 48W JS receiver sight without aperture and elevation arm, jeweled bolt body and follower. The hinged floorplate, trigger guard and steel grip cap are blued. The ends of the crossbolt are engraved with foliate scrolls. The best quality checkered walnut stock has a pistol hand grip with a blued steel grip cap, beaded cheekpiece, ebony forearm tip and a stud for sling. 13-7/8" inch length of pull to a 7/8" black Pachmayr Decelerator rubber recoil pad. 10 Lbs. - 2 Oz. with scope & 8 Lbs. - 15 Oz. without scope.
