Description: Superb Keith Stegall built Wildcat 25/270. Keith was perhaps Jack O'Conners favorite gunsmith. Gun dates 1950 , Gunsmithing by Keith was said to be done in 1964. Heavy Wildcat 24" barrel said to dead on at 1/2 a mile, Rare 25-270 marked K. Stegall. Lyman period correct 10x scope with weaver rings. Fantastic Tiger Stripe stock with his signature steel grip cap. A real piece of Winchester history. Very slight small freckling by the serial number and a tiny mar shown about midway on the outside of the barrel , Real nice bore and wood with even matched tiger at all angles and the famous Stegall hand carved check piece Pictures show real well but much better in person. The precision work on the bolt is superior , Fully adjustable trigger, All work by Keith Stegall. This is a more than fair Buy it now price for a collectable that you can hunt with.
