Description:
Featured is a Winchester Model 70 Standard Grade in caliber 30-06. The 24” blued barrel is in very good condition minimal blemishes, slight muzzel wear and no corrosion in a bright shiny bore. The bore is in very good- excellent condition with sharp, clean rifling. The blued receiver is also in good condition, with minmal wear. The front sight is a hooded fixed bead and the rear sight is a folding leaf sight. The trigger guard and floor plate are in excellent condition. The walnut Monte Carlo pistol grip buttstock is in very good to excellent condition with some evidence of use in the field and/ or handling marks. Stock has the standard factory checkering at the wrist and forend and factory installed sling swivels, Length of pull is 13-½”, overall length is 45”, and the weight with moutned scope is approximately 8.5 lbs
Mounted on the rifle is a Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40 MC riflescope. This classic 1" all purpose scope features excellent light gathering ability offering wide field of view and brilliant, contrasting images in poor light. On left side of objective bell there is a scratch but otherwise the scope is unmarked. This a perfect upgrade to a classic rifle.
