*   5-25-26  SALE PENDING for WARREN   *    Winchester Pre War Mod. 70 in .257 Roberts with blue near 95% and wood better than 90% with no obtrusive marks. The 24" barrel has great rifling and quite shiny also. The front sight ramp has some marring and the rear sight was removed with a blank in place. The wood has no cracks and checkering is slightly worn. Both receiver rings have been drilled and tapped , 4 holes total with plugs. The left side receiver has been fitted with a Griffin & Howe side mount and a Weaver Model 330 Scope with Standard Cross Hair is in place. The Scope has a 3/4" Tube. The Stock has been slightly notched to accommodate the side mount about 1/32 " which is barely noticeable. The butt plate is factory metal checkered with tear drop. I rate the over all gun as about excellent at 90% - 95%. Shipping to FFL in the Continental US with Buyer to pay Shipping Cost.
