Winchester pre-64 Model 70 .300 H&H Magnum. Made in 1950, serial 154677 (matching bolt) has a 26-inch barrel (hooded ramp front sight with beaded blade, adjustable rear sight). Redfield mounts (one-inch medium rings) are attached. No box or papers. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with mounts) is 8.4 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.5 inches. CONDITION: This two-owner rifle is believed to have been fired less than 50 rounds since factory proof. The bore is outstanding. Mechanics are solid and the trigger pull surprisingly crisp. Metal finish is approximately 97 percent with minor indications of handling. Wood is at least 95 percent with the majority of adjustment from light impressions. Markings are tack sharp. Wood is properly proud and inletting is undisturbed. The price is firm and layaway is available. $3,250 plus shipping.
