Description: Winchester Model 70 .220 Swift. Made in 1938, serial 15113 has a 26-inch stainless steel barrel (filed front sight blade, empty dovetail on boss) and rudder safety. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with optic) is 9.2 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.55 inches. CONDITION: The bore is strong and bright with but traces of frost appearing under magnification. The receiver wall was drilled (now filled) for a side mount. The stock is notched for a receiver sight (absent) and the sling loops have been replaced with studs. Metal finish is approximately 80 percent over the barrel and 70 percent on the balance. Stock is solid and stands at approximately 60 percent. OPTIC: A Weaver J2.5x with crosswire/dot reticle and a Litschert Varmint Master objective hood rides in a Buehler mount. Optic is clear and viable with internal clouding and trace debris visible.
