Description: Beautiful, near mint condition rifle in the scarce 300 HH Magnum. 99% Blue 99% Varnish. 26" Barrel with excellent bore. Mechanical function is excellent. Matching bolt. Correct gold bead front sight, SG marked floorplate and barrel, jeweled action components and swivel bases. No swivels. Please note that receiver proof is missing. This is the 2nd 300 HH Super Grade I have sold with similar serial #s that was missing receiver proof. Dean Whitaker's book mentions this on p.88 and states that while not common, it did occur where receiver proof, barrel proof or both were missing. S/N 369xxx Mfg. 1956. Buyer is solely responsible for determining that a used gun is safe to shoot. The firearms offered have not been test fired but have been given a visual inspection only for sales purposes. It is a requirement that every used firearm is inspected by a qualified gunsmith before firing. Buyer agrees to hold seller harmless against damages, injury, or death caused by defective merchandise.
