The Winchester Model 70 is a legendary bolt-action rifle renowned for its reliability and accuracy, earning it the nickname "The Rifleman's Rifle". Introduced in 1936 as a redesigned successor to the Model 54, it's characterized by its Mauser-inspired action, controlled round feeding, and three-position safety. It also features a hooded, ramped blade front sight, with no rear. Four holes drilled on the receiver with scope blocks. Matte blued finish. Finely figured walnut stock, with fine checkering on the wrist and forearm. Sling swivels present. Factory black rubber butt pad. Jeweled trigger and magazine follower. Adjustable muzzle brake. CONDITION: Very Good. 95%. Very minor scratches and impressions on stock. Handling / storage marks. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Operates normally. .338 Winchester Magnum
