EARLY FIRST YEAR PRODUCTION MODEL 71 DELUXE LONG TANG .348 WCF CALIBER RIFLE WITH DESIRABLE FACTORY BOLT PEEP REAR SIGHT, #5XXX, MADE 1936, this rifle came out of right here in Montana and has seen light use, retains nearly all the barrel blue, mag tube shows very minor thinning only, fine deep receiver blue with some "spotting/flaking" on the sides, a little on the bottom by the serial number and a little on the bolt, even the receiver ring and upper tang retain about all the blue, forend cap with correct super grade swivel stud getting silvery, correct matching inletted swivel stud in the butt stock, original unaltered checkered steel butt plate, fine wood with fine only slightly worn checkering on the pistol grip and forearm, correct original Winchester embossed pistol grip cap, filler in the rear sight dovetail, front sight retains the hood (often missing), mint sharp bore.
