A rifle designed for North American Game from Whitetail to Brown Bears and Moose this Nice Model 71 in .348 caliber with 24" barrel was manufactured in 1936 with Serial # 127XX. Crowned barrel, Long Tang with standard furniture and hooded front sight. Has smooth standard buttstock & deluxe checkered forearm. Also have an extra forearm which is standard model. Of all the lever actions I've shot this one has one of the smoothest actions...like butter. Being one of those "Old Guys" whose seen shoulder surgery its time for this rifle to find a new home where it can be used for its intended purpose. I have some .348 brass and about 150 factory rounds in Remington, Winchester & Hornady + 24 reloads. All but 20 rounds in 200 grain. Ammo is not part of the asking price but is negotiable as a separate transaction. Out of State Transfer available thru my FFL to your FFL or FTF at local Firearms Store near me.
