Winchester Model 74 Short Rifle - Smooth pistol grip style stock and forend. Butt stock tubular magazine with butt plate. Holds 20 Short ammo. 24 In. long barrel with adj. rear open sight an a front bead sight. Wgt. 6.25 lbs. Bore is clean and bright. Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 85% bluing. Stock and forend are in exceptional condition with minimal handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. Overall condition is excellent. Appears to have been well cared for. This one is from the first year of production 1939. Rare to find in this condition. Nice addition to your Winchester collection. Manufactured from 1939 to 1955.
